As a practicing psychotherapist and devotee to lifelong learning and growth, I am committed to helping individuals, couples and groups achieve happier and more productive lives. In a private, comfortable setting, I offer brief and/or in-depth therapy directed at meeting the needs you express.

After working for 15 years in human resources, I fulfilled my dream of making a career change to psychology. I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University at Buffalo in 2011. My training has included work at the University at Buffalo Counseling Center, Buffalo Psychiatric Center, Kaleida Behavioral Health Trauma and Addictions Program, Orleans County Mental Health Clinic, as well as an American Psychological Association Accredited Predoctoral Internship at Virginia Commonwealth University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Rochester Counseling Center.

Free parking is available in the parking lot off of South Avenue. If that lot is full, there is available parking in the surrounding area (Southview between Mt Hope and South often has parking).

Enter the building using the door on the Elmwood Avenue side of the building rather than the door on the South Avenue side (1577 South Avenue), which is a different office. My name is displayed on the correct door.

Psychotherapy sessions are by appointment only. 

I see clients at my office and/or via tele-therapy Monday through Thursday.

Payment is due at the time of service.

I am an in-network provider with Aetna. Payment of your copay/co-insurance is due at each appointment.

If you have other insurance, it is likely that your insurer offers out-of-network benefits (i.e. you may select a therapist who is not a participating provider and receive coverage from your insurer). In such instances, payment of my session rate is due at each appointment. Please bring your insurance forms to your appointments. I will give you receipts and/or complete the provider section of the required paperwork so that you can file for reimbursement with your insurance company.

You have a right to know what will be billed for services, and upon request, I will disclose the anticipated cost. Please note that the cost could rise if unforeseen circumstances occur.
